As many of you already know in response to popular demand there will be an Eat Your Heart Out pop up store in February this year on the 7th, 8th & 9th February, London (it’s actually the first event in a series which I will be doing with Emily Evans but more of that soon)…
This stage of any project is always really exciting so wanted to share some of the edible concepts we have had in so far. This 3D heart cookie from Made With Love By Me / Hannah Glennerster is one of them. It is a three-dimensional interactive maple syrup anatomical heart cookie which has been airbrushed, royal iced and hand-painted. The top cookie comes off to reveal the inner workings of the heart on the bottom cookie which is also a space where you can store a message for your loved one. I see this piece as a romantic extreme fortune cookie!
And there’s more… Miss Insomnia Tulip has come up with this incredible Heart of Stone made from oreo fudge with sugar blood.
The big difference between this event and previous ones is that with Emily on board we’ll be branching out into craft, homewares and art for the first time so it’s a one stop shop for all those who are bored by the saccarine valentines offering and / or pink. We already have some amazing people on board some picks shown below.
Chocolate artist Cake for Breakfast will also be making anatomically correct heart lollipop and solid 100% anatomically correct sold chocolate hearts weighing in at 1lb. Awesome already right and this is just the start!
